If you are interested in reserving a puppy, please provide us a little info. Our application is not a form to fill in.
Instead, you should submit info via email or text.
We are looking to know a little about you, other pets, and the suitable environment, time and care you can provide a dog.
This info is reviewed to consider you for approval.
Feel free to include info such as puppy gender preference and questions.

No deposit is accepted unless Step 1 has been completed
and you have received approval.
STEP 1: SUBMIT INFO
STEP 2: SUBMIT A DEPOSIT
After you receive approval,
a deposit must be placed in order to make a reservation.
Gender and litter must be specified at time of deposit. We dod
You will be reserving the next available "pick"
in a specified gender and specified litter.
Pick is determined by the order that deposits are received.
Deposits are placed via PayPal.
No checks or cash accepted.

a deposit will not be accepted.
*Deposits are refundable in the event of change of mind or circumstance
STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR PUPPY

The selection process takes place around 6-7 weeks old,
on a designated Selection Day noted on the litter page.

You are responsible to be available for this process,
as the date is supplied in advance.

Choosing is completed entirely online.
We serve families all over the country, you do not travel to us for choosing.

Individual photos and/or videos of the puppies are posted to a private webpage. Each family receives the link and time to view and make a selection. This is a progressing process,
beginning with the 1st-pick family, then 2nd-pick, and so on...
Half the balance for your puppy is due on Puppy Selection Day,
in order to continue holding your reservation.
*IMPORTANT:
We strive to provide each buyer with a physically healthy, socially secure and mentally acute puppy.
Also, we seek to improve the quality of the breed.
Therefore, in rare cases, if we observe an abnormality or receive information of significance from our vet or from a test we've done, we reserve the right to NOT release a puppy ,even if the buyer has made their choice/pick. In such a case the buyer will be fully reimbursed or given the chance to pick another puppy. We sincerely hope this doesn't occur. It is very rare.
STEP 4: PICK UP YOUR PUPPY
You are responsible to pick up your puppy
on the designatedd Pick Up Day noted on the litter page.
Pick up day is scheduled for the first Sunday
once the puppies are 8-9 weeks,
depending to holidays and our schedule.
Appointments will be set ahead of time for each family.
At pick up, you will receive an AKC registration application,
record of current shots and deworming, proof of vet wellness check, and a Puppy Adoption Contract that will need your signature.
The balance of payment is due by Puppy Pick Up

*If you are unable to pick up your puppy on the specified date, we can occasionally care for your puppy an extra few days for a charge of $100. This option is based on our schedule and other limitations at the time.
STEP 5: PHOTOS
We kindly request that you provide photo updates of your puppy.
We love to see how the pups are growing,
and at times add photos to our gallery or social media.
We enjoy seeing milestone photos and all the joy they bring.
HICKORY RIDGE GOLDENS RESERVES ALL RIGHTS TO TAKE BACK THE PUPPY IF THE OWNER HAS MISTREATED THE PUPPY, the NAME OF THE KENNEL, or in case PAYMENTS HAVE FALLEN THROUGH. THE VALUE (if paid, and defined in the Contract) WILL BE REFUNDED.
